Kenai River lodging would not be complete without a great place for guests to gather around a fire to share their day’s fishing tales. And this isn’t just any campfire, this is THE BEST CAMPFIRE ON THE KENAI within our beautifully designed and hand-crafted pavilion just recently completed.
Space for all our groups or a gathering place for your larger group the Eagle’s Eye Pavilion is a great place for throwing a dinner party, or hosting an event when you book your stay with us. We are proud to be able to offer some of the best amenities for guests who book our Kenai River lodging options.
The post and beam constructed pavilion itself is an 18 foot by 32 foot beauty with a cement floor enclosed in metal siding and roof. There are five sweeping 10-foot by 5 foot-windows and three 8-foot windows with Alaska animals etched into the glass. The frosted glass animals include bear, caribou, moose, Dall sheep, musk ox, wolf, eagle and more.
Several large log tables each seat groups of 6. There is room for the family to enjoy dining or playing games.
At the center of this fabulous space is a 5-foot wood-burning fire pit and exhaust with a 5-foot draft vent above it making it a huge, warmth spreading fire for all to cozy up to. Ron even has a fool proof system for the fire venting to keep uninvited bugs out!
